New Stroke Foundation President
Derek McCormack, vice chancellor of AUT, is the new President of the Stroke Foundation of New Zealand.
Mr McCormack brings a wealth of business experience and qualifications to this voluntary position, not the least of which is his own experience of a loved one having a stroke a few years ago.
He replaces Dr Jonathan Baskett, a stroke specialist based at Waitemata Hospital, who has retired after four years as National President.
