Help us to fight stroke at Ports of Auckland Round the Bays 2020!
Have you or someone you know experienced a stroke?
We’re giving away 25 free tickets to stroke survivors to join us at Ports of Auckland Round the Bays Fun Run on Sunday 8 March 2020, helping us to raise awareness of stroke and to help fundraise for the Stroke Foundation.
We’ll also be offering a discount of 20% to the first 100 people who get in contact, who would also like to run and fundraise for us.
Stroke is New Zealand’s second single biggest killer and the leading cause of serious adult disability. Each year, approximately 9,000 Kiwis have a stroke - that’s one every hour - and new research shows us that within the next decade this is projected to rise by 40%.
Together we will fight stroke!
How do I get involved?
We’re looking for 25 courageous individuals who have survived and experienced a stroke. Share your stroke story with us at email@example.com by Monday 25 November to be in for a chance of getting a free ticket.
If the Stroke Foundation is a charity close to your heart, or you’d like to run on behalf of a family member or friend who has been affected by stroke, we’re also offering the first 100 people who email us at firstname.lastname@example.org a 20% discount to join the fun run.
Don’t worry, you don’t have to run! You can walk the 8.4km course and enjoy the atmosphere of the day.
We’ll be in contact with all by Wednesday 27 November with more information.
Run for the Stroke Foundation and support those who have been affected by stroke, as well as their family/whānau and carers.
Date: Sunday 8 March 2020
Time: Start from 9:30am
Place: The start line is located downtown at Auckland CBD and the finish line is St Heliers Bay.
