Catherine Epps
Chair
Catherine Epps is the General Manager of Health and Technical Services at WorkSafe New Zealand, with over a decade of senior leadership experience across both public and private healthcare organisations. Prior to her current role, she served as Executive Director of Allied Health, Scientific and Technical at Capital & Coast District Health Board.
Catherine holds a Master's in Human Communication and Deaf Studies and is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Managers. She also brings clinical expertise as a Speech-language Therapist, specialising in neuro rehabilitation, including supporting individuals with brain injuries to return to work.
Originally from the UK, Catherine migrated to New Zealand in 2006 and proudly calls Aotearoa home. She finds joy in the outdoors; tramping, sailing, or spending time with her whānau. Since joining the Stroke Aotearoa Board in 2021, Catherine has been committed to advancing stroke recovery and rehabilitation.
