Grants

With the generous help of donors, Stroke Aotearoa are fortunate to be able to provide grants in some parts of the country to support stroke survivors on their journey towards recovery.

Support when you need it the most!

At Stroke Aotearoa New Zealand, we understand that life after a stroke can bring unexpected challenges - physically, emotionally, and financially. That’s why, with the generous help of donors, we’re fortunate to be able to provide grants in some parts of the country to support stroke survivors on their journey towards recovery and independence.

Support grants for stroke survivors are currently open for applications in Northland, Auckland and Bay of Plenty.

These grants can help with essential items and services like rehabilitation support, equipment or modifications, stroke-related education and training and personal development programmes for stroke survivors. Whether you want to stay connected, or improve your daily life at home, we’re here to help you move forward.

In addition, there is a specific National Mobility Scooter Fund which is available Nationwide.

If you or a loved one is a stroke survivor in Aotearoa New Zealand, you may be eligible to apply for one of our grants. Our process is simple, and our team is here to support you every step of the way.

Thanks to the lasting kindness of those who choose to leave a gift in their will, we can continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of stroke survivors across the motu.
